About Cornerstone 411 Ministries
Chris and Cari Dague founded Cornerstone 411 Ministries in 2026, but their journey with missions began long before then. Cari first stepped onto the mission field in 1995 during a trip to Juarez, Mexico, where she partnered with Amor Ministries to help build a home for a family in need. Two years later, in 1997, Chris and Cari served together for the first time as a dating couple—an experience that helped shape the calling they would one day pursue as a family.
As life grew and their family began, missions paused for a season. But in 2014, the Dagues returned to the field—this time with their three young daughters, ages 4, 6, and 8. Serving with Casas Por Cristo (formerly Amor Ministries), they discovered a beautiful blend of home building and relational street level ministry. Cari spent much of her time caring for their girls and connecting with local children, despite only knowing a few Spanish phrases. From those simple moments, a deeper vision began to take shape.
In 2020, Chris felt led to step out in faith and lead a mission team of friends and family from Texas, rather than joining a group from New Mexico as they had done in the past. That first year, 16 individuals came together to build a home in Acuña, Mexico. Each year since, the Lord has expanded both the number of people serving and the number of homes built.
By 2025, the ministry had grown beyond anything they imagined. A team of 120 individuals and families traveled to Acuña, where they built five homes in just four days. Alongside the construction, the team sought every opportunity to share the Gospel with the families they served and with the surrounding community.
Through every season, one truth has remained at the center of their work: Jesus Christ is our Cornerstone. He is the foundation on which this ministry stands, the One who holds every home, every family, and every mission moment together. The name Cornerstone 411 Ministries reflects both this truth and the mission verse that guides their steps.
Over the years, the Dagues have witnessed God’s faithfulness again and again—not only in the lives of the families receiving homes, but also in the hearts of those who serve. This ministry has become a place where families grow closer to one another, where faith deepens, and where God’s Kingdom work is seen in powerful and personal ways.
The work is demanding, but it is always worth it. Each year brings new testimonies of God’s goodness, new stories of transformation, and new reminders that He is building far more than homes—He is building lives, families, and faith.
